Triangle Life & Health is contracted with every major Medicare carrier in North Carolina — Aetna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Wellcare, Blue Cross NC, Anthem, Mutual of Omaha, and more. We're paid a flat commission by whichever carrier you choose, so we have no incentive to steer you toward one company over another. Captive agents (the kind tied to a single carrier) can only sell that company's plans — even if a better plan exists down the street. We can sell them all.

3-Step Quote Process

When to Get a Quote

You can request a Medicare quote any time, but a few moments matter:

• 60-90 days before turning 65 — your Initial Enrollment Period (IEP) is the most flexible window you'll ever have. Don't wait until your birthday or you risk Part B and Part D late-enrollment penalties.
• Annual Enrollment Period (Oct 15 – Dec 7) — your once-a-year window to switch Medicare Advantage or Part D plans. Plans take effect Jan 1.
• Special Enrollment Periods — moved, lost employer coverage, or qualified for Extra Help? Call us — you may have a 60-day SEP.

FAQs

Is the quote really free?

Yes. Medicare insurance brokers are paid by the insurance carrier when a plan is selected — never by you. There's no fee, no obligation, and no commitment to enroll.

How long does a quote take?

Most quote calls are 15-25 minutes. Bring your Medicare card, a list of your prescriptions, and the names of your doctors. We'll show you 3-5 plans that fit, ranked by total annual cost.

Do I have to enroll on the call?

No. We send you a written summary of every plan we quoted so you can think it over, talk to family, or compare against any other quotes you've received. Many clients enroll a few days later — that's fine.

Will my information be sold?

No. Triangle L&H is HIPAA-compliant. Your information is used only to quote and enroll you in coverage, never sold to third parties.

What if I'm dual-eligible (Medicare + Medicaid)?

We'll quote D-SNP plans (Dual Special Needs Plans) designed specifically for people with both Medicare and Medicaid. These plans typically include extras like transportation to medical appointments, OTC allowances, and dental.
